One of the iconic designs of the 1960's and early 70's was the Museum watch, first created by Movado. The design inspiration for their dial with no numbers came from the idea that time is not known by a number sequence, but rather by the position of the sun as the earth rotates.
On this dial, one simple marker was placed at the 12 o-clock position to symbolize the sun at its peak at noon. The "diamond version" featured in today's offer is another iteration of the Museum watch, a masterpiece selected by the Museum of Modern Art for its permanent collection in 1960.
